Medihealth Doctors

Medihealth Medical Centres most important people after the patients are our doctors and staff, we believe they will enjoy practicing in our friendly, modern, state of the art centres that much that we do not require contracts. 

Every doctor retains the ownership of their individual practice and patient base, if they choose to leave they are free to do so, they can even sell their practice to another GP if they whish and retire.  We retain the right to place other doctors into the practice if there are consulting rooms free and the patient base supports it. 

If a doctor requires a contract we are happy to provide one but we are just as happy to have doctors at our centres who sign a simple service agreement that can be terminated with very short notice because we believe they will want to stay.

Individual doctors chooses their billing method i.e. Private Billing, Bulk Billing or a combination.  We do prefer to have a practice with all doctors billings of the same method but this is not a requirement.

There is no interference in any way with clinical matters or patient numbers etc we simply run the centre including employing all staff, leasing property, equipment, paying all staff and debtors and collecting all fees from creditors.  All our doctors need to do is practice medicine on the days and times they nominate.

VR doctors retain 65% of billings

Non VR doctors retain 60% of billings

All doctors who choose to take a contract annually receive a percentage of the centres profits.
